Hell if we had a trail system around here I would pay 100. and would ride my quad on the road to get there to save gas in my truck.

After riding in some of Minnesota's trail systems, I have come to appreciate them greatly.  It's almost to the point of "name the price and we'll pay it".  Like Stumper said, we can safely ride our ATV to the trailhead, which would reduce congestion in the parking area.  Perfect.

Even if the state collected a small $30 fee for a trail system sticker, which we would happily pay, that would add up to big revenue for the state.  But there's no reason to take away plates from liscensed ATV's that have all the same requirements as cars need to be on the road.  ATV's are safer than motorcycles, period.

I would have no problem paying in the $100 range if the system was worth a shit and near me.  Hell I drive 4 ghours to Talsmas and pay $50 for the weekend per atv.  What's another $50 for the whole year.  Oh yah I forgot.  We go to Talsmas twice a year so there's $100 just for 4 days trail fees.

Great I love you guys.  Most of the talk in the Black Hills forest is $20 but let me tell you it needs to be a state trail system and I'd double what they are talking so say $40 annually and leave the license plates on my ATV.  I'd love to ride the the NE part of the state around all those lakes something like the Snomobile trails system in that area and then down by Canton WOW what a trail system and let West River head to Eastern SD. With nearly 18,000 licensed and probably could get that many and more when you bring in the out of staters.  Lets start a state wide ATV organization and I'm sure the web site www.southdakotaatv.com could be use to get the ball rolling.
