could it be the carb?

stuck float? take the carb off and inspect and clean. Could be as simple as a piece of debris keeping the needle from seating properly.

Go to the auto parts store. They sell a gas tank repair kit. JB will not work from my experiance.

I have heard of people putting bladders in their tanks.  I don't know if that would work or not for you. :-\

pull it off, clean it out, weld it up, and coat the inside.
You're trapped in a room with a ferocious bear, a crazed lion, and a Patriots fan. You have a gun but only two bullets. What do you do?

Shoot the Patriots fan........................twice.

This is what the sprint cars use to keep the fuel in he tank if the tank ends up getting a dent or a small hole in it.

it sits in a metal skid plate and the water/mud gets trapped between the tank and the metal skid plate, thus causing rust and pits you don't see til she starts a leakin
