Something we are starting to learn is the tracks need to be consistant like all dirt or all grass and not have dirt with clumps of grass and stuff it kicks the small kids quads with there junk suspension around bad.Worse yet it really throws the high hp quads around when they are spinning and one wheel catches.

Yep I agree. Personally, I wont ever race on a dirt track that isnt scraped again. Its just to inconsistent when you dont scrap it and it just sucks for all these high horsepower machines that are starting to show up. I couldn't get Moby's V to hook at all and the brute was just all over the track. I'm pretty sure I bent the subframe on my 450 b/c it just went instantly left and now it looks tweaked a little bit in the back. I think we need to start sticking to bladed tracks not only for consistency and smoother races, but for safety. Some of this stuff just cant stay planted in a straight line when its rough and like redrzr said, those kids were bouncin all over the place.

I do want to thank 1bad, Dj and Michelle Lindner, Andy, Michelle, helmjama, and any others that helped make this Gayville race happen. It was a great turnout and a fun race for the first year. I hope we can make this an annual event and I also hope we can start some more of these events in SD. A couple of us are working on one for Yankton but its too early to tell if its gonna happen or not. Thanks again everyone.

It did look like you had your handsfull out there. :D  The Baby Brute just wants to get back in the sand I think......it was pathetic watching you try and launch it.;D  We were watching the video last night and Macky said " Nelly drive in corn?" :D :D  It would have been great to have it scraped but 1bad said the land owner didn't want that done.  In the future I think it would be great if the tracks could be setup like Lake Andes.  It was a fun day though.  All you that donated your time are awesome.  Hopefully it worked out well for Gayville....I know I donated some money to the cause.  How the hell a skinny kid like Jackson can eat that many hotdogs is beyond me.  He had seven. ???    Neat to see the sport bike powered quads run......I was happy to see that there was only one that beat Nelly when he was on the 800.  Can't imagine what those things would do if they could hook up.  I got to ride in ACAT's RZR.....that thing is cool.  I want one.  They make turbo kits for them too.  :)   Good to see and talk to everyone.  Seems like everything gets faster every event........Well except for 1bads Renny. :o :D  Just kidding buddy.....glad I watched the vid in slo mo and saw the issue.  It'll be back with a vengence.....look out 800 class...the Super Renny is pissed.  Can't wait to do it all again.
You're trapped in a room with a ferocious bear, a crazed lion, and a Patriots fan. You have a gun but only two bullets. What do you do?

yeah the renny just wasn't himself on sun. >:(  oh well it was a fun day and a great turnout.Yes I wish the track could have been better, but I did what I could with what I had.The ruts in the north lane were rough and I wish the truck driver hadn't driven there but that ground is so hard that it is EXTREMELY hard to work.although the launch area seemed great after the last watering. It seemed to really hold up well.It was really cool to see all those up and coming racers in the pee wee's 8).I know they sure get a rush out of racing.Skyler asked me for a bigger quad already :o.I think he wants to go hunting for some nelly's ;D :'(, and sammy will race anybody that wants some :D.
Thanks again for all the cooperation and those that volunteered their services.Gayville is TALKING about putting one on in the fall also.I will see if I can get land somewhere else so we can scrape it and have better racing.

Sounds like you better sell the renny and get him a bigger quad to run.

Damn it 1bad, your gonna make Nathan want a bigger quad not too. Thanks buddy.  :D Sammy looked good out there, that thing leaves hard. It was great to see that big of a kids class racing.

As for Macky's saying... I prolly should have to just parked in the corn field and let her sit.  :D  I took the 450 out on a smooth spot today and it launched perfectly straight everytime. Guess it just felt like going in circles Sun.  >:(

It was fun to see those sport bike quads run. Not so fun to watch one hit the ditch right in front of me though. It was kinda ugly from my view. Thats the one that beat me in Genoa on Moby's V by about 6 bike lengths... that tells ya what they are capable of. Anyone have a motor like that they would like to donate to a wicked little project??  ;D
