Back up pull rope
« on: November 30, 2007, 09:23:56 PM »
Does anybody have a back up pull rope for when your battery is dead or weak?

I had to use mine today.  I hadn't run the atv for awhile and it was abouut 10 degrees today when I needed to move some stuff around today so I thought I'd start the wheeler and the battery was pretty week and only turned over a few times.  well to get to my question, should it be damn near impossible to pull that rope?  I couldn't hardly pull it.  It wuold pull real hard until I could turn the motor a little bit and then it would give like it got over center, but I couldn't just give it a big pull like on a lawn mower or snowmobile or anything.

It makes it a lot easier if you push the electric start while pulling the rope. Starts right up ;D
