ya i saw the deer in person, the game warden stopped by the house soon as he recovered it, i have about 30 photos of it.

No, the perch are very finnicky this year.  The bottom 3ft of water is full of freshwater shrimp and other bugs.  The bugs are so thick that the camera is almost useless during the middle of the day.  Maybe they're just full? :-\

Let me tell you, that was the COLDEST I have EVER been out fishing in!!!! The fish were freezing on the floor of my Hardside. We didnt think to pack snow around it yestrday so we had 4 inches of snow as well as 2 ft drifts out of each hole when we got there. The fish were hungry though ;D

Here is a pic after we shoveled a buch out and stoked up the fire.
