Front end loose??

I went riding around town today, just to see if my quad still ran and, I thought the front end felt a little different so I jacked it up and if I grab the top and bottom of the tire I can move it a little. What seems to be moving is the upper A-arm (inner, next to the front diff) and the upper ball joint (next to the tire). Haw much play is normal?? It dosen't feel like it's going to fall off or anything but, warenty is up on April 1st and I and I didn't know if it warented a trip to Waylen down in Yankton or not.

Well what the hell?  It just wants to get rode thats all!  :D  We better get that thing fixed before race season!

dude i have the same problem >:( it feels like it moves just a hair but when you go down the road it shakes like a tire is out of balance. i took the tire off and re torqued the hub, the arms, and the tie rod end. might have helped a bit but it still shakes alittle. i called yankton motor sports wedsday night and talk to the shop guy he said it could be all those things. im starting to think its the bearing.  ???

if you guys are going down a hill and the machine exceeds 30mph.That is HIGH SPEED WOBBLE (aka. death wobble)for a brute.They're not designed to go that fast  :P  :o  :-*

Well that sounds like you guys have a bearing or a bushing going out. I've never looked at one but just by the discription it sounds like that would be it. Helm did you talk to Tom and Yankton Motor Sports? Either him or Waylon should know if there has been problems with them.

YOU are the tester!! :D :D I'll probably take it to Waylen Monday and have him go over it good before April 1st. I wouldn't want my jockey getting hurt, in fact why don't you stop by Yankton next week and keep an eye on 'er for me  ;). Make sure he dosen't just "@$%!&@ rig" anything.

Wow, I guess. Well we will now see if what old Waylen is made of. I hope he dose something for me he seems like a nice guy, easy to deal with. I hope the shop backs him up, Moby and I left the last 2 ATV dealerships we patronized because of "shop/service problems".

Sorry if it comes back to you with a few miles on it though. haha jk  So do you wanna take it to Genoa Sunday before you drop it off to Waylon?? Last chance before they close it down until the middle of May and its suppose to be about 47 degrees. Sounds like quit a few people from nebraska are going and I have the day off.
