Thanks mark, Hey are Norfolks races going to be heads up or, more of that "most consistant" crap?

I sure hope we can make it down to Westfair this year. Do you know any dates for sure? Any plans of draging your parking lot this far North?

Im sure it will be both Heads up and Bracket Racing (aka: most consistant crap LOL). Im not a fan of Brackets either, but most people are (why, I dont know). There's been talk of putting on 1 or 2 big event, heads up races this year, with big payouts. Which would be awesome.

I dont know any Westfair dates yet, but if I remember right its always on Wednesday night of the Iowa Westfair. Ill post it up on here as soon as I hear something.

I would love to come up North and do some racing, shoot some bulls, and tell lies, but last year everything was hard packed surface. I (as well as all of us drag guys from here) need loose tilled dirt, or sand to run our paddles on.

Nelly- Do you think you would have grass and mud drags or just grass?  Either is fine by me, just curious.

It would probably just be grass drags. Would anyone be ineterested in a little flat track road course style or something like that? If he lets me do it on his land I have quit a bit of room to work with.  I would like it to be tilled dirt but I dont know if he would let us do that or not. I could see though.  1bad mentioned a good idea this morning of doing something for Gayville's Hay Days. I'd like to have a few different races there if possible.

Also, the scramblers track in Yankton would like to have a couple races there if myself or someone else is willing to help them out I think. I'm guessing they wouldn't do a 100% payback thing though. Would anyone show up for that one?

Sounds good guys, like 1bad said, Gayville is between Yankton and Vermillion. They originally named the town that b/c they knew he would be living there someday but thats beside the point.  :D  I might be able to hold a couple races on some land out there this year and was just wondering if anyone would show up. The more replies to this the better!

Andy did you get paddles for the rocket?? Thats gonna be sweet!
Yep can't wait to try them out.

I'm not a member of the scramblers but I'd be willing to help.

Nelly,

Count me and the Rhino in to help with the race at the ranch. The Rhino does not race but it likes to work.

Thanks a lot Steve, I appreciate it. And I think you should race the Rhino just for the fun of it. I think it would be fun to see and prolly fun to race!  Maybe redrzr would bring his rzr and race ya.  ;D

Yes, were going to try and have a couple out at the scramblers track and then I talked to one of the guys from the snowmobile club today and they are already planning a race for River Boat Days in August again.
