I ride there all the time,i helped build most of the trails and try to help maintain them as much as i can. There is a variety of trails from open pasture to tight creeks and alot of hills since it is along the edge of the missouri river. I plan on riding ther this sat.

Are there enough trails there that a group of guys could make a day of it?

My Son (Cody) and I went to Talsma for our first time on Sat 21st. We had a great time. Some of the trails were muddy and pretty rutted up. We spent the whole day and I know we didn't get everything covered. All the more reson to go back again and we will. And next time i'm bringing the RZR.
A special thanks to Mike and Danny (Redrzr and helmjama) as you can see they helped us first timers get through some sticky spots like Snail Trail.

Looks like fun.  That one spot where you are pulling out is that the little creek?  I always wanted to go down that when there is water.  Glad you had fun wish I could of been there.

Trails look a lot drier than when we went on the 15th, a lot of fun down there and there's something for everyone. Still washing the mud off of the wheelers.  ;D

The picture where i am pulling is the north end of snail trail, its always muddy and some one usually gets stuck. BEWARE of THE ROOT it claims a victom every time someone trys to climb it. so far every day i have been there it has rolled someone back down both sat. and sun. this weekend and for the last 3 weekends its pretty nasty.
