What I heard?

I heard last night there was going to be a vote at talsma's that the guys with renegades will have there own class (sport utility) and wont be able to run with the 4x4 ute's with racks . I heard this is coming for next year's classes also.I am wondering how the vote turned out last night if anyone can tell me?
I guess I will be racing myself next year or possibly against 1 other renny.This sounds like a blast.
I guess I will have to sell the renny cuz no one wants to play,sport quad guys don't wont to let us race with them,and now the utility guys won't let us play with them.
I guess I should start complaining about racing bikes 150cc's bigger than mine and how unfair that is.But I won't cuz I am there to have fun and race whatever shows up,the renny and I will NOT be racing in 09 if these rules change because it won't be much fun racing with one other in my class,and NO the ute's with racks or sport quad guys won't beable to jump into this class.
SORRY about all the bitchin fella's.This just really get's me going with all the WHINERS out there.If they can't win then we will just change the classes so they can.
GOTTA GO, lookin at a quad with racks to come kickass next year.MUD and GRASS

Well I do have to say I agree with 1bad on this issue. I also think we should let all the utes run the sport quad classes if they want to as long as they are in 2 wheel drive. To me, its a blast when i'm up against a ute that can run right with us 450 guys. As far the ute classes go, why not let the renny race in them too? A quad is a quad guys, racks or no racks, it still has 4 wheels. And if guys with racks dont think you can run with the renny, I think we proved you wrong at the Yankton race.    (sry bout that 1bad). Everyone should be out to have fun anyways, it shouldn't have to be a big competition all the time. We do these races so we can all get together, shoot the shit, do some racing, give eachother a hard and have some fun.  Let em run is what I say. Whats the fun in kickin them out so others can just go win? Theres no competition and no trying to make yourself better then and to me thats just boring.

What???!!!  They don't want to let the Renny's play.  Why the hell not, their easy pickens.   Seriously though that seems silly to me, it's a damn Outy with different plastic.  The things a ute.  It won't be any fun going to the races and watching 1bad just play with himself.  I'll still race ya buddy.  


So who is it that thinks these Renny's are imposible to beat?  Kingrob is 280# and can run with them in 300'.  I watched Aeckert give a couple of Renny's all they wanted and he was on a box stock 08 750 and that was in 500', if it would have been 300' he would have smoked them.  I have no doubt an Outy with proper setup can run the same times as a Renny.  The difference in weight is not that great.  I just can't figure out the reasoning behind this.  Seems like someone got their ass kicked and is looking for an easy way out.

Wow, I didn't know anything about this. Who's whining, not me and I loose all the time. Nelly, I and Moby just got back from Norfolk, man that was a blast, sorry I'm going to miss the rest of the races this weekend, I'll get there next year for sure.

Just a short ride report for everybody---Nelly on my BF 750 almost beat (half a quad) a Renny X with exhaust and a fancy intake and he was running paddles, I wasn't.
                                                      Nelly on Mobys 633 beat a fast LTR 450 twice.
                                                      Nobody was bitchin about anything that I heard.

We also went on a ride a few weeks ago and from what I remember in 300 ft Nelly on my 750 or mobys 633 and 1bad on his Renny were just a matter of launching , after 300 1bad smoked my quad (maybe it was all that ass smacking, I'm not sure? Ulmer on his new improved Outty vs. me on my BF 750 were a toss up at 300 ft. after that he blew by me like I was in neutral.

Maybe we should start giving trophies to everybody like they do in the kids classes. Is that what this is coming too? Why is everyone so excited to celebrate mediocrity? I thought the classes at Geddes were about perfect, that's only my opinion.

We've got this great website why not take a pole? Down in Norfolk today sometimes it sucked to be running against quads that had roughly twice the horse power I did but, that's fine I was just happy to be involved and , they charged me $25 bucks just to play on there track. Which was a beautiful set up I might add, they are talking about doing something like this once a month.

I hope they don't kick you out 1bad. And If they do I know of a damn nice place down in Nebraska where you can still beat up on me all day. I'll even save you a spot on my trailer.(you'll have to ride back there with your quad of course )

Anyway just a rambling of thoughts, you really want to make it fair make the skinny guys put seed corn bags on there racks so we can race weight for weight. I'm fat, I'm not going on a diet and I'm also not bitching about it. I know Nelly can beat damn near anyone in the drags on comparable quads maybe we should kick Nelly out, would that make everyone happy? Lord knows I'd be winning a lot more. He's just so darn cute though, that and I don't think anyone here wants to see Moby Blubbering like a 9 year old girl.

I don't see any issues with letting the Rennies run with the utes.  Afterall 4x4 is 4x4 no matter how you cut it.

Well thanks again Kingrob and Moby for takin me along today. Like he said, it was a great time. As for this ute thing, like kingrob said, its not for the money, its for the fun of it in all the classes. Take Geddes for example... 1bad and I had a blast racin eachother the whole day on different quads and niether one of us is bitchin because the other won or lost. All we care about is that it was a blast, we could give eachother shit and walk away laughin about the whole thing.  Like I said, I could care less if the the utes raced the sport quad classes as long as they run 2 wheel drive. Yes I did beat Kaiser today but it was because of reaction time. He ran a 6.05 to my 6.07. I also beat a yfz and a 450R along with the Rennegade which was not running right but guess what, it was all just fun. We all had a good time.

As far as kingrob goes with wanting to kick me out, well I guess maybe he will have to find his own jockey after all.  Gonna stick with cowboy troy there bud? lol

Wow it sounds like someone is a bit butthurt or something. Must have had a bad experience with a Renegade. lol. I think its sad there was even a vote about it or that it was even considered. I say let em race. I dont have a problem with them racing the sport or utility class.

As for today, it was nice to meet Kingrob and get some good runs in with the guys. Those were definately some good races with the 650. I missed 3rd both times, not quite sure why but i think thats irrelevant that thing was right with me everytime. I think the race would come down to the first 60ft everytime which is awesome I could do that all day. It was fun win or lose.

I don't know what's all going on and I haven't heard about the voting at talsma's but I think it's all B.S.Even if they change the rules I will still be there to cheer you on fella's and nelly .There is nothing better than knowing when I line up against nelly or a cat 950 and knowing I better be on my game.Which my game seems to slip from time to time.But that is what's fun,it wouldn't be any fun if you knew you were going to win everytime like taking candy from a baby.I guess we'll have to wait and see what happens next year.Now let's get out and ride.

Sure wish I could have went with you guys yesterday but definately next time, sounds like you guys had a great time .And kingrob you truly are a great guy saving me a spot on your trailer I don't care what everybody says about you your O.K. in my book.Whens the next ditch ride?

I say let them run whatever machine they want, aslong as it is under the max cc's.   How fun is it to have 20 classes and only a couple people in each class.  I liked how talsmas ran a true open class at the end, there was every thing from dirt bikes to sport quads to 4x4 utes.  That was a fun race.

At talsmas we had classes for each,sport quads and utes and at the end we let everyone play in the open class.we also let the renny run in the ute class which i have no problems with.It should always come down to just having fun and ride what you like.
