Looks fun!  Good pics too.  I've been wanting to make a trip there.  What's your opinion of it?

We had a good Time.  Very nice trails - lots of fun twists and turns - some hill climes.  You have to be a little careful at times, only run for one wheeler at a time so when you meet someone on the trail it can be tricky to get around eachother.  My son actually ran into someone head on around a sharp corner (no body hurrt).  Every thing is sand, sand, sand with some standing water on the trails.  The only real negative for me was the gates weren't consistantly the same width so the RZR didn't always fit so we didn't get to see all the trails but I think we'll still go back anyway. Maybe spend one day floating down the river in a stock tank, that looked like fun.

Am I correct in that they don't allow paddles there or did I make that up? ???  Good thing you got the Razr, looks like no other side by side would come close to fitting.

You are correct, NO PADDLE TIRES ALLOWED!  And you better be sure you have your spark arrester in.  They also say no loud pipes (in excess of 90Db at 4in)  but lots of people including my son had after makets pipes and no one said any thing about them.

Gosh that almost looks like parts of colorado.  I have yet to visit Halsey and hear its a fun time out there.  I'd have to get a spark arrestor before I could ride there.  Hehe.

I go out to Halsey every year to do some grouse hunting with the boys for about 5 days.  Good times.  But anyway there is a $#!tload of trails and miles of roads!!  It doesn't take long and you can get lost out there.  Once you get out of the forrest everything looks the same, lots of sand, sage and yuccas.  Great place to camp, good facilites, and if you go in the summer I think they still operate a swimming pool!
