What should I do?

In the spring of 05 I listed and sold a 1952 Chevy straight truck on Ebay. The guy that bought it was from Wisconsin and asked if he could leave it here for a few months until he was coming through the area. I said no problem. He sent me 2 money orders totaling 860 dollars and I havent heard from him since. The sale is no longer availible to view on ebay and they say they dont have the records availible for that far back. SO basically, I have no info to tell me who the guy is anymore and dont know what to do with the truck...sell it again? let it sit and rust away in my yard? Local Sherrif dont really have an answer to what I should do....

I would say that you could sell the truck agian.  It has been 3 years if he wanted it he would have made some more arangements with you.

are you a collector of junk or what you have more things for sale i think the only one with more stuff is handy

I ran into that along time ago and if the title is not signed over it is still yours.  If the title has been signed over and it is in his name you have to apply for a abanded title.  Just go talk to your local court house and they should be able to tell you what to do, or just call to Pierre and ask them.  I just went through that with a snowmobile.

LOL, you shoulda seen my place last summer, I gaurentee I had more stuff than Handy. I have hauled in around 30 vehicles and prolly 10 ton of scrap besides....Still have more to go...

Not necessarily, he purchased the vehicle on eBay. That is an auction site, so there is evidence that the truck has been sold. I would first try to get his contact info, maybe through the checks he sent, emails, contact eBay HQ, and if you can't... Well then list it again.

I still have the title and it is unsigned. I tried contacting Ebay through emails and they basically blew me off. I got a phone number number for them now to try..

Contact the states attorney they should be able to get you the info that you need.

I'll attest to that. I love junk yards and I spent about 3 hours walking around and searching and snooping there.  Did I mention that it was down pouring rain, about 4 inches an hour downpour
