well took the sleds out on the lake today and never fell threw, so anybody have any ideas on what we should do with the ice drags or some kind of race track course, I was thinking I could plow a course so it is bare ice and have it about 1 mile long with sharp turns and some cones or we could do a drag but i think a timed course or 2-3 quads could race the course it would make for some fun and slippery slidiong around, basically just a chance to get together this winter and ride some ice and have a fire some saturday this winter any suggestions.

I think a course sounds kinda fun and maybe have 2 quads race through it or something. Maybe set up a drag on the side of it or something. I dont think it much matters as long as a bunch of us can get out and ride and have a good time for an afternoon!

the ice is around 4-7 inches in most spots from what i have found, the ice is crab around the cattails, there is only around 1/2 to inch by the weeds, the good thing is that there are very few patches of weeds, and even if you fall through the cattails it is only 1/2 foot deep of water, but the cold has been getting it to make more ice, we will be fine, i would like to see us get together by feb, i want to get through the holidays and let the ice thiken up and then we should be good to go, anybody is welcome to come any time and ride the lake if you want, i work 1 week per month on the weekends.

We should all try and get together sometime in Jan. I have a pickup bed liner we could pull around on the ice with everyone piled in REDNECK SLEDDING

I have a big inner tube that was used to pull behind a boat! We put a heavy duty tractor tube in the lining and you have a bunch of handles to hold on to. The kids had a blast on it last year.
