What would you think if we got something set up for this winter.  I know it is long time away, but I live right on the lake.  We could do drags just like the dirt.  we could have a studed or chain class and also normall tires.  It would pass the time in the winter and we could also ride the lake for the day.  8 miles of lake.

the sioux valley cycle club does the oval racing on ice. they even added a utility class last year.

the ice drags would be fun. i think i hook up better on ice with studs than i do one dirt with a good pair of tires or paddles on sand

Sounds fun, but I'm with Stumper, got an array of tourny's this winter.  Which reminds me, are we going to try to partner up on some of these tourny's this year Stump?  We should wait for the schedules.

Before you go to Waubay, get yourself a GPS map ("Mike's maps" is the brand) of the lake and a handheld GPS.  Try working the edges of the flooded stockdams.  There are lots of them all over the lake.   ;)

i grew up in webster as you know and i have fished that lake before it was a lake, i know where the road beds are and the deep holes are.  I also had a cabin on pickeral for several years when i was growing up.  I just got back from pickeral, had a class reunion and my friend has a cabin on pickeral
