Ok Nelly, If your set at 6400 right now and you have some offers good for you.  Your right, I can't handel paying 6400 for your yfz and I will buy something else.  I am looking at an 08 Yfz brand new for 5500.  It's nice to know that you have also been drag racing your machine.  I don't get it, but if you guys think nelly's ride is worth so much more why don't you buy it and resell it and make some money?  Anyway good luck with the sale.  Hey did you figure out what was in your carb?

Well i'll tell ya this, if you get a 08 YFZ for that I feel sorry for you. By the time you even get it anywhere close to what this one runs your gonna have over $7000 stuck in it. Good luck with that and let me know when you get it so we can race. I'd love to throw some dust in your face. And if its worth that much, why dont you buy it and resell it and then take that money and buy something better yet? hm.... doesnt make much sense to buy a bone stock YFZ when you could do that huh?  Good luck with finding something comparable for this price. Let me know when that happens and i'll be happy to come run ya.

Lol, first of all I don't think it's worth that much its everyone else that does so talk to them.  So you think a pipe,an intake and filter kit, the cam mod, and the lowering kit, is gonna cost me 1,500 bucks?  Thats all you have on yours other than "nelly's carb tuning" which I still want to know what got stuck in there, I have never heard of that happening to a quad before.

I simply suggest that myself and other potential, or would have been potential buyers would be more interested in this Yfz if the price was lowered, then I get hit with a bunch of shit talking.  I figure I need to explain myself and why I would think the price should be lowered and now your telling me I'm full of crap and a rat???  Whats going on here.... are you guys just messing with me or what?

well first of all, Nelly's carb tuneing is for me to know and you to sit and wonder about. Thats racing for ya buddy. Get use to it because us drag racers tend to have many tricks up our sleave. If you dont like then go cry to someone else because none of us want to hear it or put up with it. Second of all, if you would pay attention to what your looking at you would remember all the other stuff this quad has on it and everything that goes with it. Maybe you should read again and pay attention before you open your mouth and act like a big professional salesman that knows everything about everything and thinks he knows what its all worth. Afterall, you did tell us your new to this stuff. Maybe you should stay that way and learn the hard way.

Like I said, whenever you want to race your little 08yfz let me know, if I still have mine i'll be waiting. Maybe i'll just keep it now so I can go out and blow dirt in your face.  If your not gonna buy it then quit actin stupid and move on. I really dont care. Even if you wanted to buy it theres no way in hell i'd even sell it to you. I like the things i've builtup to go to someone that knows what they are doing and that will take care of it.

Motorhead the only reason anybody is talking $hit to you is that it is not appropriate to come onto a classified add and beat down somebody or their machine cause of the price they have on their stuff.  Something like that is a suggestion you could make to him in a personal message.  You could have made an offer or a counter offer at anytime.  I don't know Nelly or his equipment myself.  He has always been an upstanding member and has represented his machine best he could.  Making a comment about good to know it was raced was a b.s. comment also.  It's pretty well known through most of this forum that it's built to run.  I don't know of many people that haven't raced their machines.  Whether it be in a competition or just playing around with buddies.  We're all here to get along and make new friends for riding.

Gunner I know what your saying, but in no way did I do any "beating down".  I just suggest lowering the price.  All the seller would of had to say was, no I think this is a fair price and that would have taken care of that.  And no, I don't know what everyone does so when I hear that a quad I was looking at was raced against people all over the state, when the seller said its just had a little riding around here and a couple trips, I see that as not being uninformed.  Not that it matters anymore anyway. 

Now now Nelly,  First of all, I was not interested in what you did to tune your carb, I wanted to know what got stuck in there when you were riding it.  Its good that you have racing secrets and all that stuff, I'm not trying to figure your secrets out.  And saying I'm dumb and don't pay attention, and I left out all those extras, and your right I don't know as much about quads as a lot of poeple do, but tell me how DG nergbars, a widening kit, new tires (that a new stock quad would already have), new grips, and paddle wheels and tires make your quad faster than the 08?  Oh, and your not selling me your quad, I'm not buying it, bla bla bla, I know, I am just defending myself against your attacks.

well its like Gunner said, I've never known a machine that hasn't been raced. Thats a sport quad for ya. 90% of them have been on the MX track too. Yes i've jumped around for the fun of it but have never MX raced this one.

and when did I say all that stuff makes it faster?? Being fast isn't the reason for the price on this thing. You have to realize that the nerf bars cost 150, the grips 30, new tires 170, set of rear paddles 280, and the full set of wheels and paddles 600.  There is a lot more than just the little bit of work I have to done to it to make it faster. But like we have all said, its one of the fastest 450 sport quads around that doesnt have any motor work done to it. So you see, theres a lot more to a quad than just how fast it is.

Now that we have decided your not going to buy it why dont you just let it go and maybe someday you will see it up close in front of you on the track and realize maybe it was worth it.  For everyone else, yes it is still for sale and I have got the carb issue taken care of, the air filter was plugged and there was a few small pieces of sand in the carb. New air filter is on the way so she will be back to herself again.

No kidding. Guess I should have learned to carry an extra one the first time that happened to one of my raptors. O well. It was all fun and thats all that matters.
