Replacement wheel stud
« on: August 20, 2007, 06:40:16 PM »
My son broke one of the four studs off the left rear hub  of his DVX400 while changing tires, I can't fine anywhere to get just a replacment stud, everyone wants to sell me a whole new hub.  The broke stud was easy to get out of the hub with a couple taps from a hammer.  Seems to me it should be just as easy to put a new one in the same way.   Anyone have an idea where I could find just the stud?

when you get one don't pound it in for fear of going in crooked.  just put it in and then pull it through by tightening it with your lug nut.

Use a stack of washers and your lug nut and pull it right in like gunner said....
