Working on getting ready for ice fishing and am debating on whether to just buy chains or buy a new set of tires and put studs in the old ones

A good set of tires will take you about anywhere you will want to go. The only time I felt studs would have been nice was first ice,but in 4x4 I was still able to get around no problem. plus power sliding ius a blast, cant do that with studs.

The thing about 4x4 is that the tires NEED to be the same size front and rear. Just replacing the rears,I wouldnt recomend. A set of 25 in mudlights would be a good choice for you I think.

Your on a Brute, the only chains you need are for pulling out other quads. And I recomend a strap for that
I HATE tire chains , couldnt pay me to use them!!!

hooked up the fish house and pulled it around yesterday. wasn't sure if i could. tried it with a different quad last year at the first catch event and it couldn't do it.

The fish house is also over twice the reccomended weight. I pulled it to the lake atleast 3 times. I could run about 30 mph with it. Stopping and turning is a whole different thing though. Gotta be going pretty slow to stop or turn
