Ever give any thought to doing a calcutta at the events? I was at a demo derby today and the winner of the calcutta got 1025 bucks... The fans got into the derby alot more since it gave them someone to cheer for.

i thought about it several times, but do you realize how long it would take to do 65 quads.  it would bring good money, but would take a hell of alot longer and to be fair you have to do all quads

Took about 30 minutes to do 20 cars. The key is to have an auctioneer that isnt going to milk every dime out of every quad. It dont take long for the bidders to stop screwing around and bid on the guys thay want.

so about 1 1/2 hours to do 65 quads a hour at the least, i will do some thinking and see what i can come up with.

Maybe we could do a trial run and just do the 650 class. If we explain to the other classes that if it works out we will do all of them the next time around.

Sure, the fans or drivers are able to bid on and buy each quad in the class. After they all have sold the money goes to the person that "owns" the winning quad. so if 10 quads are auctioned off at 100.00 each there would be 1000 dollars in the pot for that class. SOme time the money gets split between the top 3 . just depends
