changing belt on brute

what does it include changing the belt, any special tools required,  any info would be greatly appreciated thanks
2005 BF 650 AMS 12" wheels Venom 2500 winch
2006 BF 750 AMS 12" Wheels, 26 " Swamp Fox Plus tires,
Venom 3000 winch, Eagle plow, Moose hand and thumb warmers,
Moose ignition module.

I pop the primary off (which requires a clutch puller) and then throw on the new belt.

I never removed the clutch.You can pop the old one off and pop the new one on in a couple minutes.Let me know if you need some help.There might be some other things to tinker with in there while were at it ;D

do you have to shim every time you put on a new belt?

Thanks guys I am going to try to do it this weekend, 1Bad I am going home this weekend to change the belt, that is where it blew on me so I left it up there. While I have it open is there anything I should look at like you were saying.

Make sure you get all the old belt out,if you have never removed a shim just put on the new belt and make SURE you look at the arrow on the belt it tells which way the rotation goes.You should be good to go.

OK I will make sure I do that.  I figured you were going to tell me how to get 20 mph more out of the brute lol. If I have any problems I will let ya know thanks for the help. ;D
