I woulda considered it if I didnt work,but ONLY because its close. Last yr was a little disappointing. MAYBE it will be better this yr.

Snowmobile and ATV Grass Drags in Parkston
The Dakota Ditch Rippers are having their 4th annual Snowmobile and ATV Grass Drags on Sunday, August 3 located at Parkston 2 miles west and 3/4 mile north of Junction 37 and 44. Registration will take place from 10:00 a.m. until noon, with races starting at 1:00 p.m. For more information, contact Jason at 605-928-7627 or 605-999-2923.

if plans work out should be bringing the big 650 prairie. might have to race the snowmobiles to have competition  ;)

If I remember right we waited till about 1 and could see any end in sight for the snowmobiles so we left.

just got off the phone with jason, I am going and if anybody from this area wants to go let me know, I will problaly get smoked being it is a 500 foot track, but oh well here are the classes:

utility class
0-500
501-700
701-up

sport quad 2 stroke classes
0-300
301-450
451 -up

4 stroke sport quad classes:
0-350
351-500
501-700
701-up
can have after market pipes on quad and still run this class

unlimited class:
0-500
501-700
701-up
basically the way I understood anything goes in this class

Like I said the track will be 500 foot and 10.00 per class with 70% pay back

And they will also have snowmobile grass drags which will be awesome to watch, I will be going and jj and helmajama and possibly doug, I still have room for 2 or possibly 3 on the trailer.

I thought you guys were going to the atv rodeo ,cant you make turns or what ;D  Maybe if enough of you go to parkston they will have enough quads to actually have a race.
