Have you put any mods into your 750 yet?  I can't leave mine alone.  The VDI Copperhead is an awesome investment IMO.  My horsepower went from 48 up to 55 just with the standard maps on VDI's website.  The best bang for the buck is the Coop45 shim mod for the primary clutch ( about $12) and gives you about 5% gear reduction.  The stock injector is already maxed out in the upper rpm's so I installed an injector from a Suzuki GSXR sportbike- big difference.  Oh, the possibilities.  And the $$$$  :'(

Hey now.  Be nice, I'm a newbie and I'm outnumbered by Kawi's.  ;D       Actually I've got a 650 Can-am beat, now I'm after the 800 Can-am.  My Dad's got a stock 650 Brute SRA.  He rode mine and he told me that I will end up killing myself on my King.  He said the front end feels light like a dirt bike when you get on it.  In all fairness, my King was a dog when it was stock.  The ignition timing from the factory is retarded a few degrees and it ran extremely lean, just for "safety".

My dad and I would drag race all the time when I was stock.  The outcome was always the same.  He would kill me on the bottom end (4 to 5 lengths) and I couldn't catch up until he got close to his top end, then I would fly by.  Then came the VDI and I would jump him off the line and be gone.  He said by the time he topped out, I was a good 40ft ahead.  But after spending $500 I'd better be.  The Brutes can get aftermarket CDI's and jet kits and the list goes on.  One thing I can't change on my King to equal a Brute is the handling.  The solid rear axle is tough to beat when riding hard and fast.  Where am I going with this??
