Hey now. Be nice, I'm a newbie and I'm outnumbered by Kawi's.

Actually I've got a 650 Can-am beat, now I'm after the 800 Can-am. My Dad's got a stock 650 Brute SRA. He rode mine and he told me that I will end up killing myself on my King. He said the front end feels light like a dirt bike when you get on it. In all fairness, my King was a dog when it was stock. The ignition timing from the factory is retarded a few degrees and it ran extremely lean, just for "safety".
My dad and I would drag race all the time when I was stock. The outcome was always the same. He would kill me on the bottom end (4 to 5 lengths) and I couldn't catch up until he got close to his top end, then I would fly by. Then came the VDI and I would jump him off the line and be gone. He said by the time he topped out, I was a good 40ft ahead. But after spending $500 I'd better be. The Brutes can get aftermarket CDI's and jet kits and the list goes on. One thing I can't change on my King to equal a Brute is the handling. The solid rear axle is tough to beat when riding hard and fast. Where am I going with this??
