If you were gonna build a mud racer

Your budget it 1500,what mods would you do if your machine was stock?

I would do most of  my own labor...

Dynatek----210.00
Clutch spring ---30.00
tires --300
T-rex gears- 240-
cams --not sure but I think around 250
pipe -250.00
jet kit 50.00
Lighten clutch
Maybe pistons,but not sure on $$$

copper head vdi 500
bigger carbs not sure what prices will be
pipe probly holes drilled in the factory pipe so free beside time
mud tires some where between 300 to 400
clutch work heavy sping and weights. lighting up the secondary and primary.
maybe a lift and snorkles if needed.
and some dyno time.
thats a start for me.

I have done no carb work or exhaust to mine what so ever, and I think mine runs pretty well.  I would put the money into clutch and gears, tires, motor parts

i do know, i remember BJ sports center saying there was a bad ass 650 brute that was coming to geddes and he told me some of the items that were done, aleast mine is stock!

HAHA, wasnt mine, If you remember Geddes last yr I ran it while my machine stayed on the trailer. I think him and his brothers are going to try and make geddes this yr. I know they are going to Vermillion to defend thier title there.
