There is alot of grass standing waist high to me, and it is hard to see, but the ground seems flat and it should be doable for 100 yards, how much shut down do you guys think you will need?

Last yr we made a couple runs to the north before the mud drags started and it was smooth all the way to the fence.

ya i knew that but there are some tractor ruts there now, but i can fill them in no problem, but i have to wait tell the grass is bailed.

also i got to thinking, that the new honda and yamaha comes with power steering, that would be a good helper in the turning on the new track system we will be using.  just a thought!!

what about dirt bikes for grass drags, any thoughts anybody, seems they get left out and they play a big part in the trail system also.

I'd say if the track is 300', we would probably need 100-150' for shut down. That will shutting her down pretty down pretty hard too. We were shutting them down within about 50' in Lake Andes I'd say, just to stay out of the mud. lol. But thats for the sport quads, I am not sure what the utilities will need, they will probably need a little more to get all that weight whoa'd up.

You'll need alot more than 150' if you have any built bikes there. BFD has 700 feet of shut down and we use every bit of it with my DS.

0-300
301-600
601-Open

Do have an estimate as to how many quads will run in the 301-600 Ute grass drag class?

Also as soon as you know what the exact distance of the drag is going to be can you let us know so I know what springs and weights to run in my primary and secondary clutch  ;D

I went up there and i know i cam get 300 feet.  The same day there is a truck pull going on, so I have to make sure that I can get enough shut down time.  I don't think it will be a problem, I have a meeting the 2nd tuesday in July. I will let everyone know for sure.  If I can't get a least 300 foot shut down I might have to shorten the track a little.  But there is lots of room, so for now plan on 300 foot track and 300 foot shut down.  but I will let everyone know ASAP.

Yeah if there are built bikes there they will need a lot more room than us. I wasnt sure any were coming since the ground wont be tilled for paddles.
