sat aug 2 in yankton s.d. from 1:00-4:00pm at the 4h grounds.for more info call the county extension office.

The county extension office contacted our club from yankton (s.e.s.d.a.a.) and asked if we would help with this event.It will be aug. 2nd for yanktons achievement days,there will beevents for the kids and then our club will have ours .It is going to have barrel racing, slalom course and maybe an obstacle course with rocks and logs etc. all timed events.The county extension is supposed to do all the arrangements and advertising.

Sounds like fun, has anyone talked to them about maybe setting up a grass drag to go with it? Theres alot of Yankton guys that would enter.

they have preregistration forms at the couthouse now.It is 25.00 for all three or 10.00 a piece if you only do one or two events.
1)barrel race
2)pole bending
3)obstacle course
rules state long pants,boots and helmet a must,if you don't have all 3 you dont run.
classes
adult,
youth,14-18yrs old,max 300cc's
peewee 10-14 years old,max cc's 150
sport
4x4
side by side
ENTRY DEADLINE friday july 25,2008 pre reg not required but recommended due to limited # of registration   (605)665-3387

I am going to yankton tomorrow to help set up the course for the atv rodeo,they were just trying to preregister because they only figure they will have time to run 60 competitors in the time they have.
