Poker run benifit

I WILL be putting together a poker run within the next month or so. A couple friends of mine were involved in a accident on Tuesday. One lost his wife and unborn child and the other is in a coma in SF. I will get more info out ASAP as to time and place.

   Thats terrible , they have my sympathies.  Just let me know when stump , If I am not working that sounds like fun , and its for a good cause.

Thanks guys, I really have no clue how to do a "poker run" but I will get some people involved that have done them in the past. We are going to try and do it on the same day as  the "Battle of the bands" benefit if I can get the time off. I will post that date when its set.

Sorry, thats one of the saddest things I can think of happening to someone. May I suggest a grass drag instead of a poker run. You could have it just about anywhere. Might be a lot easier to set up. 10 to enter and 5 to watch, then take donations. I bet you'd get a good turnout. No winnings just for the benefit and for fun.

you could try to do both, If you do just grass drags that will eliminate two wheels, never know maybe people with cars, bikes, atv, and other may like to do the poker run also.  I would like to see a mud drag lol, No matter what you do I will suport it 100% and if I can't make i will send something, Take care Stumper!!!!

Well it sounds like the comunity wants to keep everything in town the day of the fund raiser. They think a lawn mower poker run is the way to go,of course atv's will be welcome. Things are not looking to good for Brian, from what I hear they may have to make some tough decisions today. Still hoping for the best though!!!
