Genoa is 120 miles south of Yankton. Its free riding and camping. No electricity or water tho. Its all sand with a ton of trails and a big area of flats to mess around and race on along the river. Deffinatly worth the drive down there!

For us Genoa is 3 to 3 1/2hrs from Tea SD,  Sometimes we make it a day trip sometimes we get a room in Columbus.  We have a blast on both the Quads and the utilitys.  Sand tires on the quad make it more fun but you can get around just fine without.  We spend alot of time riding down river on the flats and running thru the water. At regular flow the water isn't usually any deeper than 2 ft or less in most places. When the flow gets to the action stage its starts to limit some of the riding area - mainly the flats for drag racing.

   Sounds like a great weekend trip , bring a tent and rought it , but a bit far for a day trip.  I can haul two wheelers at 12 mpg , 400 miles round trip takes 34 gallons of gold at $3.90 a gallon thats  about $65 per wheeler just to get there and back , throw in another 20 gallons for the wheelers and you have another $40 bucks per wheeler .  then you have to add another $50 for beer and groceries and your looking at $150 per wheeler for the weekend , heck thats not so bad , when we going?  I have room for one wheeler on the trailer.........

  Anyone have a 4-place trailer and a 3/4 diesel pickup?

What are you pullin your trailer with? I can pull a 4 place loaded with quads and gear with my 1/2 ton and get anywhere from 12.8 to 13.8 goin to genoa usually. I'll have to talk to Kaiser but taken the 4 place might be an option if someone wants to jump in with us. And the only way to go to Genoa is to rough it. No hotels for us!

I we were not planning a trip to Farmingdale in Aug. I would be down for Genoa!!! Not in the budget though.

I can haul 2 wheelers and get 20mpg! Haha.

But yeah I'm down for whatever. Genoa is usually a good time, about the best riding around here. I'm not sure if we want Suzuki Killer(Nelly) taking his truck down there, he likes to bury it in the mud and water. lol That reminds me, I think I have some pics.

And if you have a 4x4 you'll do just fine with out paddles, sport quads kind of need paddles, especially if you plan on doin any dragging or anything.

Haha - ya we need to get some pics put on here of the truck stuck in the mud. lol I think my stuff just finally dried out. Sounds like its been pretty dry down there latly though so I think we will be good.

Like I said, see if it works for the majority, I would not be able to go to Geneoa, but could do talsmas problaly, but if a bunch of you want to go to Geneoa, go for it.
