Hey everyone,  just got on the site and so far I am liking most of what I have read.  We are planning on taking a trip next summer out to the Hills and I saw a post about Farmingdale being closed???  We rode out there a couple years ago and had a great time.   Does anyone know why it closed or when it will open back up??  Also I have been looking at the maps of the trails and want to know if there is a better place for beginners.  I am planning on taking Wife and kids this trip and they dont have alot of experience, so no rock climbing for me.  Any suggestions would be great.   Hope everyone has a Great Christmas!!!

The deerfield area is pretty good,and as far as i know most of the trails there are still open .Search deerfield lake resort and give them a call.

Thanks for the welcome,  Looked at Deerfield's site wondering if you knew the trail system there?  they have a map but it doesnt show the trails at all.  Would like to spend 2-3 days ridin and would be helpful if dont need to trailer our quads. 

Been reading other posts on the forum and curious on some of the rules.   Seems like there is alot fo talk on the new trail system,  are all trails clearly marked?  Don't want to get into any trouble when we are there.
