Genoa NE on the 17th

My buddy and I are going to go down to Genoa NE on the 17th (May), he wants to try out some different tires before the races down there on the weekend of the 21st of June. Just thought I'd give a heads up to anyone wanting to go. We usually leave Vermillion about 8 am and get to Genoa about noon after we stop in Norfolk for breakfast. Most of the time I get home (Sioux Falls) about 9:30/ten o'clock. I think our trailer is full but, if a few more people could get together it would be more fun. Anyhow, post if you think you can make it, if not, hope to see ya down there.

Where do you ride and what conditions.  Sounds like fun, already have plans though.  Also with the price of gas, I don't know if a GEO could pull a 5 place trailer.  I put a half of tank of gas in my sub and it cost me 80.00.  So if anybody knows of a power house GEO with a hitch let me know ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D

Kingrob,I and 2 other guys will be down there also.I will be on my renegade and riding with an 08 bf750(le blue) and a brute 650(red).We should be there about ten or so.We'll have to hook up down there or somewhere.

Man, 1badatv my first real ride on my new Brute and you bring a Renegade. I was hoping to continue the illusion of my "fast quad" but, if you want to come down and make a 300 lb. man cry  :'(  like a 9 year old girl I guess thats cool. Look forward to seeing you down there. We'll be leaving Vermillion around 7 am. Have you raced your buddy on his 08 Brute? How'd that turn out? Anyway, I've got to go now and start thinking of excuses why my quad is being slow on Saturday.

As a fellow man of Falstaffian proportions may I suggest these excuses as they have served me well.

1.   My fat rolls cause too much wind resistance.
2.   My fat roll got caught up in my rear tire.
3.   My man boobs, or moobs if you prefer, jiggled so much they slapped me in the face.
4.   The air flowing over my ass crack caused a loss of down pressure resulting in poor traction.  If      however you wheelie off the start simply change it to too much down pressure.
5.   If all else fails simply state “What, we were racing?  I was just day dreaming about pizza.”

Kingrob,how many will be in your group?What is your buddy testing for a bike?We are leaving yankton at 7:00 also but are not stopping for breakfast(makes you lighter) as far as I know.I did hear country kitchen has a GREAT breakfast buffet so we will see
My buddies 08 brute is very nice,It is by far a better machine than my 05 was,the fuel injection is responsive and the seat and ride are by far the best changes.I have raced him and the outcome was he :-X

1badatv, Wow, the suspense is killing me. I' ll have (Moby) with me, he's got an 07 Brute 650 solid and I might be bringing 2 other guys. Not sure if they are going or not. Moby and I WILL be stopping at the breakfast buffet so, if your planning on eating I'd get there early.

Hey kingrob,moby,bottlerocket.Had alot of fun today and was nice meeting you guys.Moby you have a very nice running 650,you should be proud of that thing.Should run out good at the grass drags(I"LL be there looking for YOU!!!LOL)Are you going to run it in the 650 class only?
We will have to hook up again and ride,maybe talsma's?Hope you guys made it back OK without any problems EXCEPT THE WIND!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!Thanks to the gas guys it only took $120.00 to go to genoa and back.Talk to ya later

Crack Spackle! LOL.  I think you now know you'll need more than that.  There would no doubt be a long line for a chance at getting near my crack.

Very nice meeting and riding with you guys.  It was a fun day.  Thanks for the compliments on the quad, I was surprised it ran as strong as it did.  I'll jump up a few classes at the grass drags just for you. :D  I appreciate you letting me ride the renegade, very impressive.  We'll have to hook up again, I have never been to Talsma's and would like to try it.

Genoa was a great time. Glad we could get a couple of riders from this site together for some ridding. I've already put a post up awhile ago about the races on the 21st and 22nd of June. I think we'll be driving down on Friday the 20th and camp out. The main races are on Sunday the 22nd but, I think it's more fun the day before because everyone is testing there quads and anyone can pull up to the line. I'd sure like to see some more 4x4s down there. Maybe someone besides 1badatv's Renegade could give Moby's BF 650 a run. Anyway, nice meeting everybody and hope we can get even more people next time.
