Need some help, please.

I am new to this site and have only owned an atv for less than a year. I live in Oacoma SD, I am 53 years old, am married with 2 grown kids. My wife and I are going to the hills in a week to finish our last part of the mickelson trail, Custer to Edgemont. I want to bring the Bruin with us and ride some trails for a day or 2. Can anyone recommend a good, not too sporty, trail we could ride in the Custer area? I do have friends that are fishing guides in the Chamberlain area and would be glad to share fishing reports in return. I am not asking for you best top secret trails just some good beginer or intermediate level trails to give us a chance to get started. We also camp in Spearfish for a week every summer so if anyone wants to share info on that area, great. I have x-county skiied and bike riden the Big Hill area. I do have a FS map with road numbers.  Thanks for any help or advice!

Steve, I live North of Spearfish and do most of my riding in the Northern Hills but there are some rides scheduled in the hills you might check the www.southdakotaatv.com web site. The only difference between the two sights is most of this forum is originated in Eastern SD and the .com sight is in western SD.  Both sights are very helpful I think.  If interested in riding North of Pactola Dam let me know.
