I'm not sure exactly what the rules are in the Rapid City area.  There are a couple members from the are and the go there frequantly that can help.  Here on the Eastern Side of the state there isn't much for trails or anything.

We want to go riding with the SESDAA club but in Nebraska we can't get our bikes street legal and some of the club rides in SD suggest that we are.  How can we being from Nebraska get our bikes street legal in SD?

Terry, if your riding in the hills nothing at this point has changed. You have to stay on trails that are on the ground and dont so any resource damage. There will be a few trails that will be closed here and there but for the most part things are wide open. Stop in at the forest service and pick up a map and that might be a good start. They are hard to read but with a little time it should help you find a little direction. Custer Crossing campground or Nemo Guest Ranch are a couple of good places to camp and leave from. If your staying in Rapid City or a motel then, in Piedmont there is a trail head to park and ride out of. Hope this helps
