TOTALLY depends on what your going to use it for. If you have any inclination to play in deep mud or snow, push snow, pull a trailer ect....A ute is the only way to go. If you are looking for a ditch runner,track/trail,street machine. A sport may suit you better.... I have both and for the most part my sport is my summer machine and my ute is my fall/winter machine. I do use the ute for Sled pulls/mud runs as well.

i'm a utility type of guy, but we ride mud, dams, creeks, river, snow, push snow, work around cattle, etc. we took a 660 raptor to the cenntenial trail last year and i rode it for 1/2 day and i would take my utility over it on the trails also.

depends on what your going to use them for.

I was in the same situation before and couldnt decide so I went with a Scrambler, so I have the best of both worlds. I have 4wd, its still some what sporty, I can ride a wheelie and jump it. It pulls my portable ice house, and still can plow my driveway. There is still going to be pros and cons with any machine.

But with the way some of the UTES are made now, they are pretty fast and sporty. Unless your going to be riding an MX track or something, you can still get the sport factor out of almost any utility quad.

Ive never gone trail riding and heard a 4wd utility say "Man I wish I only had 2wd", but I have ridden with lots of sports quads who didnt enjoy a day of riding because they didnt have 4wd.

Excellent choice,it will treat you right!! Make sure you put full skid plates for it right away, they need the extra protection on their frames.

i think it depends on what you want to do, I personally think utility atv's are alot better than quads for the fact you can do so much more with them, i think with sport your kinda limited cuase you only have 2wd unless you have a scrambler or renegade.

It's hard to plow snow with a sport quad.

I think sport quads are the way to go, unless u only ride deep mud or water.

If u have never ridden a sport quad I would suggest u try it.
